- (11/6/1934 Brooklyn, NY- ) (USA);aka Abeles, Morton Painter and printmaker. Earned an art degree from the University of South Carolina, studied at the Art Student League in NYC, Skowegan School in Maine, and earned a M.F.A. from Columbia University. He has been an art teacher at several schools.
